beabrokenrecord: Just wanted to say i love the symbolism of shaving your hair, you've really showed us that we are not bound by our hair. I think hair is kinda like makeup in that sense. We live in a world where 'if your hair aint pretty then neither r u' but i think shaving it is a big middle finger to that hair ideology. I hope you are well, confident and happy because you're beautiful !

Anonymous: Today I watched your "Draw My life" video on youtube and like many of your videos I was beyond inspired but today was different as I hit play and watched with tears in my eyes I was motivated to end my relationship of 4 years, For 4 years I was in a relationship with a man who couldn't see my vision often times disagreements would get pretty violent and I would blame myself for the beatings and constant harsh words but after watching I wanted better .. thank you.

I hope you stay committed to your decision and will pray for you. I also pray that this man will change his ways. Know that there is nothing you can do to change a person. They must willingly want to change. You deserve all the happiness in the world :)

curlsfordaysss: Hey Maya! I have a quick question about your shirts! are they super tight fitting like a slim fit or regular? i normally wear a large in shirts but also have big tetas lol so would you recommend i go up a size because i don't want it to be super tight around that area.

yay! they are unisex sizing. i’m 5’4, 115lbs and i’m wearing a size small on the site…hopefully that helps. i have small tatas and the shirts fit looser on me :)
